The Arena is the roman amphitheater of Verona. Together with the figures of Juliet and Romeo is considered the symbol of the city. It is the third roman amphitheater considering its dimensions after the one in Rome - Colosseo - and Capua; it is surely among the best kept. It's still used for happenings linked to concerts and ballet shows, but the most prestigious event takes place in summer: the lyrical festival.
