Visits are always welcome all year round. If you wish to see the processing of the olives, the best time to come is between the end of October and Christmas.
On second Sunday of November it’ll take place the annual olive crushing at Salvagno’s oil-mill in Valpantena hills around Verona. This traditional meeting is a celebration of the first crushing and bottling of extra virgin olive oil of the season. The growers and customers can follow every facet of the process. Local folklore music and craftsmen will teach woodwork while you can enjoy a glass of wine with a bruschetta (garlic bread) as well as herring with polenta (corn-meal mush).
